Taking over three floors of an open plan Austin venue, Roku City SXSW was an immersive journey into the fabled Roku City screensaver. Featuring a projection-mapped city street, fully functional salon, french promenade, Tardis elevator, central park lounge and diner bar, the experience took guests through various Roku content-inspired experiences with plenty of pop culture easter eggs and theatrical actors along the way. The event was labelled Best Overall Consumer Environment by EventMarketer 2023 and was a BizBash Finalist for Best Overall Brand Activation and Best Festival Activation.
